Children in Worship
We value our intergenerational worship experience and feel blessed to have children in our midst. We have an area at the front of our sanctuary called a prayground. The prayground is a space where children can interact more fully with worship; the toys and coloring pages you find in our prayground are designed to go with our worship service each week.
We invite you to sit in a pew or on the floor with your children in this area and let your children play out what they are learning about and seeing in our service.

We also encourage children’s participation in worship through: ushering, helping to collect the offering, offering special music or talents, reading scripture, being an acolyte (lighting the candles), and chiming the hour at the beginning of worship. If your child is interested in participating in these ways, please see the pastor or the children’s director after worship.

We do have a nursery if you should need it. Our nursery is staffed with volunteers who are background checked and Safe Sanctuaries trained. You can feel comfortable knowing that your child is safe and sound. However, we enjoy having children in worship and would love for yours to join you in the Sanctuary.
We are so blessed with the children in our church. The following resources are available to assist you and your children during the worship service:
If you need nursery care during the worship service for babies and children through age 2, the nursery is just outside the church doors and down the walkway to the right. We also have a rocking chair and books in the corner area outside of the sanctuary.
Activity Bags
Large ziploc bags with coloring books, crayons, drawing paper, and books for your child to use during the worship service are available in the plastic bin next to the rocking chair (just outside of the sanctuary).
